Peterson Health recently celebrated the groundbreaking of its new 1,192 sq. ft. Health & Wellness Center on Cully Drive. The facility is designed with patients, staff and volunteers in mind to provide comprehensive health services and wellness opportunities to the community. At the groundbreaking ceremony last week, Peterson Health’s CEO Stan Larson and top executive staff members were in attendance to express their enthusiasm for the project and share how it will contribute to improving local health outcomes. The new center will offer access to transitional wellness programs for patients who have completed physical therapy or cardiac rehab, as well as providing additional services to the community.
It will feature an indoor walking track, yoga studio, lifestyle classes nutrition classes, a cardio area with weights, boxing and golf simulator capabilities, personal training, massage therapy, showers and lockers. The facility is set to be completed later this year bringing much-needed health services to the community; from basic rehabilitation care through specialized services such as nutrition classes and massage therapy. And for those seeking additional fitness activities outside of physical therapy there are plenty of activities offered at the center including an indoor walking track and golf simulator.
Construction on the facility has been made possible by generous donations from individuals as well as support from local businesses in the community who recognize its importance in providing quality healthcare across its service areas. Peterson Health looks forward to continuing its mission of improving patient care while expanding its comprehensive health services when their new Health & Wellness Center opens later this year – bringing wellness opportunities that are accessible yet tailored specifically for each individual’s needs.
