Richard Childress racing will add Kaz Grala to its Xfinity Series lineup in a limited capacity in 2019, Grala announced on Thursday. The 20 year old prospect will make his first start for RCR at Texas in March.
I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be driving the No. 21 for @RCRracing in select @XfinityRacing events this season! This is definitely the biggest opportunity I’ve had so far in my career. Bring on @TXMotorSpeedway!!! https://t.co/w0ukCSHCVH

Kaz Grala started the 2018 season with JGL Racing, before moving on to Fury. Grala’s Fury team made a handful of starts with decent success, running up front on a couple of occasions throughout the year. His No. 61 entry actually led laps at Michigan, capping off a great story.
However, due to a lack of funding, Grala was unable to compete full time. No place have been announced from Fury for 2018. Grala, however, will get a shot in a competitive car in 2019.
“This is definitely the biggest opportunity I’ve had in my career,” said Grala. “Running for a powerhouse team like RCR is a dream come true, and one I plan on making the most of. With only a limited number of races to make an impression, I’m ready to get to work and lay it all on the line.”
