Another open seat in the NASCAR Xfinity Series has been filled for the 2019 season. Josh Williams, who attempted 20 races for DGM Racing in 2018, will take over the No. 36 entry for the team this year. He replaces Alex Labbe, who ran the full schedule last season.
Here it is folks. Can’t wait to get 2019 rolling in a positive direction. Thanks to @MarioGosselin and @dgm_racing_ for giving me another opportunity to be a part of the family #UncleMario #NASCAR #JWMD2019 #36 https://t.co/Ecw84UV1g4— Josh Williams (@Josh6williams) January 29, 2019
The 25 year old driver got his start in the ARCA Series, before making a handful of starts in the Xfinity Series. Williams has a career-best finish of 21st after 29 starts in the series.
No plans have been announced for Alex Labbe for the 2019 season. The team used multiple drivers, mainly Williams, to fill out the No. 90 entry in 2018.
