The NASCAR Xfinity Series will welcome a new team into the fold later this month at Daytona International Speedway, but it will be a familiar face behind the wheel. Brett Moffitt, a full-time competitor in the NASCAR Truck Series, will take the wheel for the first four events of the season.
Andy Seuss was initially slated to drive the car.

Moffitt will give the team an experienced driver to sort things out during their first month of competition. He’s set to make attempts at Daytona, Las Vegas, California and Phoenix.
“I am really excited about this opportunity with Our Motorsports to get back into the Xfinity Series,” said Moffitt in a release. “Chris (Our), Andy (Seuss) and Joe (Williams) have all been working really hard to get this team up and running for the 2020 season. With the support and blessing from Mike (Beam) and Maury (Gallagher) at GMS Racing, it’s going to be a lot of fun getting to race with Our Motorsports for the first four races this year.”
Moffitt has 11 career wins in the Truck Series, including a championship back in 2018. He’s set to return to GMS this season in another full-time effort, swapping from the No. 24 to the No. 23 truck.
