It’s officially the best racing weekend of the year. NASCAR will stay in Charlotte for the annual running of the Coca-Cola 600, while the open-wheel guys prepare to run the Indianapolis 500.
NASCAR will introduce the 600 mile race to their new 2019 racing package, which has some momentum coming off of outstanding races at Kansas, along with the All-Star race last weekend.
Kyle Busch is the defending winner of this race, coming off of an outright dominant performance in 2018. Busch was strong in the All-Star race over the weekend, leading late before smacking the wall in the closing laps.
Kyle Larson took the checkered flag in the All-Star race, looking to kickstart his dreadful 2019 season.
